Chandra Ellis, Certified Esthetician and Electrologist
The Spa at Lake Simcoe was established in 2001 by Chandra Ellis, who has been an expert in the esthetic industry for over 26 years.
Chandra earned her Makeup Artistry Diploma from the Eleanor Fulcher Self-Esteem and Modeling School in 1980, and went on to further her studies in esthetics. She earned her Esthetics / Psychofigurism Diploma from the Edith Serei School of Advanced Esthetics in 1982.
Chandra then went on to work as an electrologist for Dr. Fred Weksberg, M.D., F.R.C.P. and Dr. Ingrid Jarvis, M.D., F.R.C.P. in Toronto. For 10 years, Chandra treated women who suffered abnormal hair growth due to hormonal imbalance. Her OHIP approved clientele experienced above average results. Chandra was so highly recommended that when OHIP no longer covered electrolysis, Dr. Ingrid Jarvis referred her own clients to Chandra, and she became well known as one of the area's top electrologists.
After moving to Innisfil, Chandra established The Spa at Lake Simcoe. She ran her business in part with Suzette's Hair Salon until 2004, when The Spa at Lake Simcoe expanded to its new and current location.
In 2005, Chandra received her Permanent Makeup and Corrective Cosmetics Certificate and her clients have experienced stunning results from her work. Thanks to her unique skill and ability to pay attention to detail, as well as providing service with kindness and compassion, Chandra boasts a very loyal clientele and is highly respected by her clients and employees!
